As the second program in a three-part series on optimizing HIV/AIDS therapy, "Managing HIV/AIDS Therapy in Treatment-Experienced Patients" is a continuing medical education (CME) program offering up-to-date information and clinical insights on selection of antiretroviral therapy for treatment of HIV and AIDS (autoimmune deficiency syndrome) in patients who have been previously treated for HIV or AIDS - patients ranging from those requiring an initial change in regimen to those requiring salvage therapy.
The program content consists of videotaped interviews with three leading clinicians with vast experience in treatment of all types of HIV-positive patients and patients with AIDS. The program also includes an interactive patient case.
The key learning segments of the program requires Microsoft Media Player software [Download] and consists of streaming video segments of the faculty interviews, together with text of the physician's responses.
